Customer Pricing Professional / Customer Service

Beschreibung des Aufgabengebiets

Provide customer services including forwarding, delivery details, quotation requests processing orders, handling complains or as defined by the department or branch. In some offices and/or branches customer service staff may act as assistants to the sales.

• Customer inquiry response and research
• To drive customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation in close cooperation with Field Sales and the Operation Team.
• Business support including bookings, board tracking, maintaining work profiles and rates
• Respond to customer inquiries or requests through direct contact via telephone and email
• Communicate with internal and/or external sources to secure information
• General business support function as assigned includes on board tracking with carriers. Making booking as necessary with carriers and advising flight shipping information to the clients
• Update and maintain work profiles and rates per management’s updated information
• Handle other job assignments as determined by the direct supervisor

Gewünschte Fähigkeiten

• 2 or more years of experience in freight forwarding or customer pricing
• Strong teamwork skills and inclination
• Good communications skill – listening, providing and receiving feedback
• Process improvement
• Strong computer and analytical skills – PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
