Sales Manager / Sales Associate (m/f) – Challenge at a leading supplier of angle sensors in the automotive industry

Our Client is searching for a Sales Manager/Sales Associate in his “start-up branch” in Ulm, Germany, who will support the Europe Sales Team. Day to day responsibilities of the Sales Manager / Sales Associate include, to the following:
• Be aware of changes and requirements Daily sales activity such as visit, contact and support for customers
• Ensure proper delivery for the best customer satisfaction
• Be responsible and accountable for the monthly forecast from customers
• Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request; selecting appropriate & forwarding information; answering questions
• Forwards samples by entering request; arranging shipment; notifying customer
• Accesses to the customer database to get delivery information; preparing delivery notes
• Prepares sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and material. Reviews & analyses the result every month and set up business schedules
• Monitors the customer inventory regarding shipping and delivery.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities & learn about new products

Gewünschte Fähigkeiten

• Prior automotive and/or factory automation sales experience
• A minimum of 2+ years proven success in exceeding sales revenue targets and achieving compounded growth objectives
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, as well as CRM systems
• Works closely with all colleagues to prospect and capture major projects
• Provides timely and complete documented responses to specification requirements, pricing requests, complaints and service issues using CRM as the primary portal
• Experience in selling into multiple channels including B2B and distribution
• Provides on-going promotion of all the companied´ products through wider presentations
• Developing a strong understanding of customers’ business (i.e. product offerings, major customers, market share, applications, etc.)
• Serve as a customer resource with regard to technical data and support on all products and their various applications
• Experience in customer handling & understanding the customers focus. Experience in reporting, presentation and data analyzing
• Experience in negotiating the purchase of a project. Good and effective organizational skills
• Good communication skills and team focus.
• Interest and open mind for different cultures and countries
• English & Japanese language skill is a must
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field; e.g. Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Engineering or Technical Bachelor of Arts degree; or commensurate business career experience
